‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ is getting a live-action movie
Better make room, because ‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ is getting a live-action and computer-animated movie next year!
Paramount Pictures just dropped a short teaser that gives fans a first look at the humongous cartoon dog come to life through CGI.
According to Vulture, Clifford’s owner Emily Elizabeth is played by Darby Camp who starred in the HBO series “Big Little Lies” and “The Christmas Chronicles” movies.
Meanwhile, Emily’s Uncle Casey is played by comedian Jack Whitehall (“Bad Education,” “Good Omens”).
“Clifford the Big Red Dog” is a beloved children's cartoon series about a giant red labrador named Clifford who has fun adventures with his kind friend and owner, Emily Elizabeth.
The series was based on the children’s book series of the same name by Norman Birdwell.
The “Clifford the Big Red Dog” film was originally set to premiere this November, but Vulture reports that the release has been delayed to November 2021 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
