Joey Albert raises over 600-K for victims of Typhoon Ulysses

Joey Albert has raised over 600,000 pesos for the benefit of Typhoon Ulysses victims after staging an online concert.

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," the veteran singer performed for over four hours together with Chad Borja.

Joey, who is based in Vancouver, Canada, had been raising funds for the needy even before the pandemic by performing in hotels.

"But this year because wala nang live performances, nakaharap rin ako ng paraan. Walang makakapigil," she said.

"Malapit talaga sa puso ko 'yung mahihirap lalo na 'yung mga bata and 25 years in Canada will not change that," she added.

Bayanihan spirit is alive...no pandemic or disaster can ever stop the Pinoy spirit of giving ????
