Netflix drops 'Death to 2020' trailer, announces release date

Netflix just dropped the trailer for "Death to 2020," the upcoming mockumentary from the creators of "Black Mirror."

The streaming giant also announced the release date: December 27.

The trailer shows the many events that made 2020 a difficult year—the wild fires, the coronavirus pandemic, the protests against police brutality.

"2020, the year whose story couldn't be told until now because it was still happening," a voice over says.

Hugh Grant, Lisa Kudrow, Samuel Jackson, Kumail Nanjiani, Tracey Ullman, Samson Kayo, Leslie Jones, Diane Morgan, Cristin Milioti, and Joe Keery will appear on the show.

"Black Mirror" is an Emmy-winning series that portrays multiple realities where modern technologies backfires on its very own creators.
