‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ actor Kim Soo-hyun to star in Korean remake of BBC’s ‘Criminal Justice’
“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” actor Kim Soo-hyun is set to star in the upcoming Korean remake of BBC’s “Criminal Justice.”
According to a Soompi report on Tuesday, the upcoming drama titled “That Night” will feature Kim Soo-hyun as a college student whose entire life changes “after he becomes the key suspect of a murder case.”
“A Korean Odyssey” star Cha Seung-won is also set to appear as a lawyer who barely passed the board exam and the only person who helps Kim Soo-hyun’s character.
The award-winning British television series “Criminal Justice,” written by Peter Moffat, premiered in 2008 and starred Ben Whishaw.
Directed by Lee Myung-woo, “That Night” will be written by “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” writer Kwon Soon-kyu.
The K-drama remake will begin filming the first half of 2021 and premiere in the second half of the year. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
