Sonic the Hedgehog voice actor Roger Craig Smith steps down after 10 years
Roger Craig Smith, the voice actor of Sonic the Hedgehog, has stepped down from the role after a decade.
Smith made the announcement on Twitter, saying that it was an "amazing run."

The official Twitter account of the franchise wrote a short tribute for Smith, confirming the news.
For over 10 years, Roger Craig Smith has been an integral part of the SEGA family. He brought the voice of Sonic to life, and we are forever grateful for his never-ending enthusiasm in helping the community and spreading joy.

Sonic the Hedgehog is the title character of the popular video game franchise published by Sega. The game inspired countless comics, animations, and more recently, a live action film series.
The first "Sonic the Hedgehog" live action film was released in February 2020.
