BTS is the most-mentioned K-Pop artist on Twitter in 2020

BTS has surely made its mark as one of the most talked-about artists in the world and Twitter proves it.

According to a report released by Twitter on Thursday, BTS tops the list of K-Pop artists mentioned the most by users of the social media platform in 2020.

They were followed by NCT, EXO, Blackpick, GOT7, Treasure, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together, Twice, and Ateez.

BTS also took over the most-mentioned K-Pop songs list, with six of their hits on the top 10, including the Grammy-nominated “Dynamite” at No. 1 followed by “On.”

Treasure, TXT, Ateez, Stray Kids, and Enhypen, meanwhile, topped Twitter’s fastest rising K-Pop artists list in 2020.

The Twitter report said #KpopTwitter reached a whopping 6.7 billion tweets globally last year.

It also showed that the Philippines is among the top five countries tweeting about K-Pop.

The Philippines is top 4 in markets tweeting about K-Pop ranked by tweet volume and top 5 by number of unique voices in 2020.

BTS was also named the most talked about K-Pop group on Twitter in the country in the past year.
