'Lara Jean, how to be you po?' Noah Centineo, Lana Condor read ‘kilig’ tweets from Filipino fans
As the love story of Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky comes to an end in "To All The Boys: Always and Forever," Lana Condor and Noah Centineo took the time to read some sweet "love letters" written by Filipino fans on Twitter.
In Netflix Philippines’ Instagram page, Lara and Noah said they totally felt the "kilig" from their Pinoy fanbase.
"Nobody brings the 'kilig' like our Filipino fans and it just so happens that they have sent us some love letters all the way from the Philippines."
One tweet said: "Sana all may nagaagawan para sa'yo! Lara Jean Covey, how to be you po? Akin na lang si Peter Kavinsky, please."
Noah, who tried his best to read it in Tagalog, smiled at the message and said: "There's a lot of passion and a lot of love and desire."
"And she obviously wants to be you, which is pretty cool," he told Lana.
The film "To All The Boys I Loved Before" (2018), starring Lana Condor, Noah Centineo and Israel Broussard, is based on the best-selling book trilogy by Jenny Han.
Its sequel "To All the Boys: P.S. I Love You" came out in 2020, with the love story coming to an end with its third installment, "To All The Boys: Always and Forever,” which premiered last February 12, 2021. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
