"Demon Slayer" has not stopped hitting milestones in 2021.

The manga author of the hit anime series, Koyoharu Gotouge, made it to the 2021 TIME100 Next as one of the Phenoms!

Shonen Jump, the magazine that publishes "Demon Slayer," shared the news on Twitter on Wednesday.

Other Phenoms include Filipino-American singer Olivia Rodrigo, inauguration poet Amanda Gorman, "Bridgerton" star Regé-Jean Page, "Queen's Gambit" star Anya Taylor-Joy, and Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic, among others.

The TIME100 Next is an expansion of the magazine's flagship TIME100. It recognizes 100 rising stars who are shaping their industries and the future.

In December 2020, the "Demon Slayer" film "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" dethroned "Spirited Away" as Japan's number 1 film in the box office.
