'Friends' reunion special finally filming soon

The highly anticipated "Friends" reunion is finally filming very soon!

According to a report from People, David Schwimmer told SiriusXM's Radio Andy that the special will be taped "in a little over a month."

WarnerMedia announced last year that the 54-year-old actor and co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry will return to the hit comedy's original soundstage.

"It's happening," said Schwimmer, who played Ross Gellar in the iconic American sitcom.

"We figured out a way to film it safely and there's going to be a portion of it that we filmed outside because of, you know, for safety protocols," he added.

Asked about who will host the gig, Schwimmer was mum but ruled out several names.

"I can tell you it's not Ellen [DeGeneres], and it's not Billy Crystal," he said. "I can tell you who it's not, but that'll take a while, probably."

The unscripted cast reunion special will stream on HBO Max.
