BTS sets another Guinness world record with ‘Dynamite’

BTS isn’t done conquering the world!

The award-winning and record-breaking South Korean pop group has set another Guinness world record with their hit song “Dynamite.”

On Tuesday, Guinness World Records revealed “the worst kept secret in history” that BTS had officially claimed the record for the “most simultaneous viewers for a music video on YouTube Premieres.”

According to Guinness, the music video for “Dynamite” broke records after it clocked up over three million concurrent viewers when it was released in August 2020.

After someone commented that BTS records should have their separate Guinness book, the organization replied on its Twitter account: “They may have a nice spread in the upcoming book, so look out for that.”

According to a Soompi report, BTS’s “Dynamite” broke several Guinness World Records, including most viewed YouTube video, music video, and music video by a K-Pop group in 24 hours.

Apart from these, BTS also holds the Guinness titles for best-selling album in South Korea and most viewers for a music concert livestream.

As of writing, the “Dynamite” music video has over 933 million views. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
