Sponge Cola drops new romantic single 'Labis-labis'
Sponge Cola has another love song for the ages.
The legendary OPM band just released "Labis-labis," a song about the "overflowing, overwhelming joy of being fully yourself with someone."
"Love is an inexhaustible source of inspiration that takes countless forms; and songs are stories set to music," said guitarist Erwin "Armo" Armovit in a statement. "Every person experiences love differently, but every person experiences love."
Bassist Gosh Dilay said the magic of the song is that it captures the "gleeful feeling of excitement upon seeing someone you love, after being away for so long. Or even just after a brief period."
Prior to this, Spong Cola's latest release was "Siguro Nga," a song inspired by the hit Korean drama "Start Up."
"Labis-labis" is out now on all digital platforms. —JCB, GMA News
