Netflix unveils official trailer for fantasy epic 'Shadow and Bone'

The heroine of the Grishaverse was put in the limelight in the official trailer of Netflix's "Shadow and Bone" series.

The trailer gives a glimpse of her journey from being a lowly soldier and orphan into becoming the key to setting her country free after finding out she could wield extraordinary power.

Based on Leigh Bardugo’s worldwide bestselling Grishaverse novels, "Shadow and Bone" is set in a war-torn world and follows Alina as she trains as part of an elite army of magical soldiers known as Grisha.

However, nothing is what it seems.

The eight-part series will premiere on Netflix on April 23. —JCB, GMA News
