'Wonder Woman 1984' is headed to HBO GO Philippines this April

Wonder Woman is landing in the Philippines!

HBO GO on Wednesday announced that "Wonder Woman 1984" will be streaming on its platform starting April 21.

The film is the sequel to the phenomenal "Wonder Woman" which hit the big screens in 2017.

This new chapter finds Diana riding lighting across the sky, donning wings of gold, and chasing a dream while in pursuit of two formidable foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah.

From director Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot in the title role, "Wonder Woman 1984" takes viewers back in time to the 1980s, where the fate of the world is on the line once again, and only Wonder Woman can save it.

Chris Pine also returns as Steve Trevor.

"Wonder Woman 1984" was finally released on HBO Max last December after being postponed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic. —JCB, GMA News
