"The Howie Severino Podcast" is now the Philippines' number one trending podcast on Spotify!

Last week, the podcast reached the fourth spot shortly after its launch and also topped the "Society and Culture" genre on the streaming platform.

The podcast, which premiered on several digital platforms on April 8, featured GMA News pillar Jessica Soho as its guest in the pilot episode.

The award-winning broadcast journalist talked about her humble beginnings in the media industry, opened up on being body-shamed on social media, and shared an eyewitness account of former president Ferdinand Marcos during the 1986 campaign.

The second episode released on Thursday featured Philippine General Hospital spokesperson Dr. Jonas del Rosario. He is a survivor of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and lost both of his parents to the disease.
