A community paw-ntry for pets is up in QC

A community paw-ntry is now available in Quezon City for fur parents who, just like any other parent, need support in providing for their beloved fur babies.

According to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the paw-ntry was also inspired by the Maginhawa Community Pantry.

In the photos, several pet essentials like dog food and snacks are seen up for grabs for a pet owner who needs it or a passerby who would like to feed animals on the street.

The community paw-ntry is located just in front of the PAWS Animal Rehabilitation Center along Aurora Blvd., Katipunan Valley, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.

It will remain open to the public from 8am to 5pm everyday, except Sundays and holidays, until supplies last.

For interested parties, you may simply drop your donations off with the help of PAWS’ gate boy, JJ. PAWS is also accepting cat food for their shelter cats.

Committed to keeping each pet safe, PAWS is encouraging other communities to set up their own PAW-ntry “to also help indigent pet owners cope in this pandemic.”
