'My Hero Academia' films 'Heroes Rising,' 'Two Heroes' are coming to Netflix this May

Two "My Hero Academia" movies are landing on Netflix this month!

According to the Coming Soon section of the streaming platform, "My Hero Academia: Two Heroes" (2018) and "My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising" (2019) are set to stream starting May 15.

"My Hero Academia" is a manga by Kohei Horikoshi that tells the story of Midoriya Izuku, previously quirkless, as he works to become a hero in a superpowered world.

It got adapted into an anime in 2016. The fifth season just premiered this March.

The franchise has expanded to include two movies with a third on the way, titled "My Hero Academia: Word Heroes' Mission." It is set to air this August. —JCB, GMA News
