Avril Lavigne’s Manila concert is pushing through in May next year!

On Facebook, Wilbros Live asked the Canadian-French singer’s fans to hold on to their tickets as they will remain valid for the new date which is May 2, 2022.

“We apologize for the wait and we hope to see you all at Avril Lavigne’s concert next year. Thank you for your patience and continued support!” the post read.

According to the post, fans can also refund or change their tickets by contacting TicketNet at info@ticketnet.com.ph or calling 8911-5555.

The deadline to refund tickets is on May 30, 2021 (Sunday).

The Manila stop was for Avril's “Head Above Water World Tour,” which was first announced in 2019 and was supposed to initially happen in 2020.

Avril’s last visit to Manila was in 2014. She is best known for her pop rock songs including “Complicated," "Girlfriend," "Sk8er Boi," and "When You're Gone." — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
