SB19 honored to be nominated for Top Social Artist win at BBMAs, happy for winner BTS

Although they failed to bag the Top Social Artist award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), SB19 said they are happy for the winner, BTS.

In Nelson Canlas' report for "24 Oras," Tuesday, the P-Pop group said getting nominated at the prestigious music awards is enough for them.

"Sobra-sobra na po 'yung karangalan na maisama po kami 'ron sa Top Social Artist finalists. Talaga pong masaya na kami," Josh said.

("It's already a huge honor for us to be included in the Top Social Artist finalists. We are already happy.")

"Madaming opportunities po ang nagbukas para sa amin at hindi lang po para sa amin pero para po sa buong music industry ng buong Pilipinas," he added.

(Many opportunities opened up for us, and not just for ourselves, but also for the whole music industry in the Philippines.")

SB19 recently made history as the first Filipino act to be nominated for Top Social Artist at the BBMAs alongside Ariana Grande and K-Pop groups BTS, Blackpink, and Seventeen.

They recently released their new single "Mapa" and is set to drop their new album soon. The group will also hold a concert titled "Back in the Zone" on July 18.
