Will there be 'A Quiet Place' Part 3? Emily Blunt says 'Why not?'

Keep your eyes peeled for a third chapter of  "A Quiet Place" because it just might happen.

Actress Emily Blunt answered "Why not?" when asked by Collider whether there would be another installment in the hit horror franchise.

In fact, her husband, writer-director John Krasinski, apparently already has ideas for another sequel.

"He has a whole arc of ideas that could work," Blunt said. "I think he just wanted to see how people responded to this one before he fully engaged his brain on the third one. But he has a couple of great ideas."

Blunt added that when they were filming "A Quiet Place" Part 2, she always said that they needed to think of it not as a sequel but as a second chapter.

"This is just a continuation," she said. "I think there is such investment in this family, such mileage for expansion on this kind of extraordinary world. Does this family have to venture out? The story ventures out, the world gets bigger."

"I think there’s room," she added.

"A Quiet Place" follows a family as they try to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind monsters with an acute sense of hearing.

The first film was released in 2018, while the sequel is set to be released on May 28. —JCB, GMA News
