Blackpink to mark 5th anniversary with '4+1 Project'

Blackpink has confirmed that they are preparing for a project for their fifth anniversary on August 8!

On Twitter, Tuesday, the K-Pop group shared a poster where the words "5th Anniversary" and "4+1 Project" are seen. The post also included hashtags for the event.

No further details have been revealed yet but a website where fans can watch out for updates was also shared.

Composed of Rosé, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo, Blackpink debuted in 2016 with the album "Square One" which contained the songs "Whistle" and "BOOMBAYAH."

They have since reached multiple milestones such as having four music videos to reach a billion views. Their most recent one to achieve the feat was "As If It's Your Last."

They also broke multiple Guinness World Records with "How You Like That" in 2020.
