This fan-made edit of 'Trese' trailer used Glaiza de Castro's voice and it's hype

For years, fans of "Trese" have been dreaming of the day when their beloved comic series gets adapted into motion picture.

According to Bazty Orca, 22, a credit staff at a bank and a fan of "Trese" since 2017, they have a Facebook group where they discuss the comic and share ideas on what a possible live action or anime adaptation can look like.

When it comes to casting Alexandra Trese, Orca said fans have reached a consensus: Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro.

"Fans think she's perfect for the role," they told GMA News Online. "We can feel it! We feel the 'angas,' we think she can pull off a stoic voice."

Orca said Glaiza's portrayal of Pirena in "Encantadia" convinced most fans that she can pull off the Babaylan-Mandirigma.

Following the premiere of "Trese" on Netflix last week, fans once again revisited the idea of Glaiza as Alexandra after Liza Soberano's performance as voice actor did not meet their expectations.

Orca said they saw a fanart of Glaiza as Alexandra with Mikael Daez and Gil Cuerva as Crispin and Basilio. They began thinking about making their own fan-edit.

"I really want to prove that Glaiza will kill this role so I decided to edit the trailer using her voice," they said.

Using audio clips from "Encantadia," Orca took six hours to make her own version of the trailer, which has now gone viral on social media.

Posted on Monday, the video now has nearly 10,000 likes, 6,000 shares, and over 167,000 views on Facebook.

In their caption, Orca said Glaiza and Liza are both good actresses but the former has been a fan favorite for years.

"Trese was created for its readers," they said in Filipino. "So don't invalidate the feelings of Trese fans."
