'Shazam! Fury of the Gods' reveals first look at new superhero suits

The Shazam! family is back, and looking more powerful than ever.

The director of the coming-of-age superhero film, David F. Sandberg, just released a first look at the upcoming sequel "Fury of the Gods."

The photo shows Zachary Levi as Shazam, Adam Brody as Freddy Freeman, Meagan Good as Darla Dudley, Ross Butler as Eugene Choi, and D.J. Cotrona as Pedro Peña — in their new suits!

According to Sandberg, Grace Fulton will be taking over for Michelle Birth and play both the actual and superhero version of her character, Mary.

For those who haven't seen it yet, "Shazam!" (2019) follows a group of teenagers who unexpectedly discover the ability to transform into full-sized superheroes.

According to Variety, the sequel "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" is expected to premiere in June 2023. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
