Kids, grandmother get spooked after seeing 'ghost' in TikTok video

A grandmother and her grandkids were spooked when a "ghost" seemingly appeared in their TikTok video.

In an episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," what seemed to be a kid with a dark skin showed up in the TikTok video of cousins Aireen Doria and Pipay Dimalanta.

According to Aireen and Pipay, they are sure that it wasn't any of their three other cousins because they were washing plates and taking a bath.

Their 71-year-old grandmother, Lorna Hogg, said their house in Angeles, Pampanga stands at a former resettlement area for Mt. Pinatubo victims.

The house has been there for 30 years and they have never felt scared until several incidents occurred, including the TikTok video.

"I was alone and I don't get scared. Now, I'm scared so when I sleep, my five grandchildren should sleep on the bed so I know I have someone with me," Lorna said in Filipino.

According to her, one of her grandchildren, Aleah Sauva, was even possessed by the "wandering soul" while she was sleeping.

"We heard her crying then saw that she was cold and experiencing chills. Sometimes, her voice is different. She said, 'It's like there's a different person inside me,'" she said.

"I woke up with [my grandmother] holding me. I was crying. I was sleeping here in the living room. I saw in the mirror that there was a woman beside me," Aleah said in Filipino.

Lorna, meanwhile, said that she has also had her personal experience with the ghost.

"In the bathroom, there's a shadow who calls me with [my grandchildren's] voices. When I ask them, however, they tell me that they weren't calling me," she said.

"There are three knocks on my door every 12:00, 3:00 and 6:00," she added.

Because they want to put an end to their fear, they asked for the help of paranormal researcher Ed Caluag, who said that there were two ghosts inside their home.

"I instantly saw one kid who was wearing white but I was bothered because I saw another one," he said in Filipino.

He asked Aleah to sit down and close her eyes while he checked if he can get a look at the ghost. After a while, he and Aleah both saw her.

Aleah pointed to where the woman was standing and according to Ed, it might actually be the person they saw on the TikTok video.

"She whispered that she wants a doll. She won't leave until she gets it. I need to bring it to where the child came from," Ed said in Filipino.

Software Engr. Jervin Baldemiano said he cannot say if the TikTok video was edited or not, but Lorna said she and the kids are sure that it's true.

"We don't know how to cheat. The kids are innocent. My cellphone is new. That's a ghost."

Lorna said that she is now at ease since she doesn't feel the ghost anymore.

"The fear in my heart is gone. I already went to all parts of our house. I didn't feel anything that would make my hair go up. I hope this is forever," she said.
