Twitter: Philippines ranks 2nd among countries with most K-pop tweets

Filipinos continue to dominate conversations on Twitter related to K-pop even during these unprecedented times.

According to Twitter, from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, 7.5 billion tweets were made about K-pop, setting a new record for the topic.

The Philippines ranks second among countries with the highest number of K-pop-related tweets, and third with the most number of fans on the platform.

Indonesia leads the list of countries with the highest number of K-pop related Tweets, while Thailand, South Korea, and the United States also make it to the top five.

The top 5 most talked about K-pop artists, meanwhile, are BTS, NCT, Blackpink, EXO, and Treasure.
