Terry Crews wants 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' reunion movies in the future: 'I’m already pitching ideas'

If you're sad about "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" ending, don't be — there's every chance we could have more of it in the future!

Actor Terry Crews, who plays the role of Lt. Terry Jeffords in the cop comedy series, said that he wants to have reunions even after the eight and final season airs.

"Something I love about TV is it actually gets more popular over time," he told Variety. "So, in five years, we’ll be even more popular than we are now. And that will be just in time for that really fabulous reunion!"

In fact, Terry said that "everybody wants to bring it back."

"And I’m ready," he added. "I’m already pitching ideas. Hey, let’s do a ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ movie; we could do one every year!"

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine," which revolves around the hilarious shenanigans inside a police station in Brooklyn, is ending with its eighth season this August.

It first aired on FOX in 2013 before getting canceled after five seasons.

When the cancellation garnered a strong reaction from fans online, the series was rescued by NBC, where it started airing in 2019. —JCB, GMA News
