Here are the new characters you'll meet in 'Money Heist' Part 5, including Tokyo's supposedly dead BF

Netflix has unveiled three new characters who'll be making an introduction in the upcoming fifth season of "Money Heist."

First up is Berlin’s son, Rafael, played by Patrick Criado.

In the early episodes of the show, Berlin said that child is "a nuclear warhead that’s going to destroy everything."

Years later, we meet 31-year-old Rafael, who has studied computer engineering at MIT in Massachusetts and is incredibly clear about one thing: he doesn’t want to be like his father.

Next up is René (Miguel Ángel Silvestre), who is none other than the love of Tokyo's life, as she declared in Part 1 of the series.

René is the man Tokyo started mugging with, with whom she traveled, enjoyed life and the man she loved before things went terribly wrong.

Another new character is Sagasta (José Manuel Seda), Commander of the Special Forces of the Spanish Army.

According to Netflix, this man is seasoned in countless international missions against the worst of the human species, "which makes him precisely the same as the men he has killed."

When he puts on the uniform, he becomes an analytical, cold and ruthless mind, capable of going beyond any ethical or moral convention if the mission requires it.

"Money Heist" is a popular Spanish series that follows a bunch of red jumpsuit-clad thieves as they pull off heist after heist led by the Professor.

It is wrapping up its epic story with the fifth season, which is separated into two volumes.

Volume 1 will premiere on September 3, while Volume 2 will premiere on December 3. —JCB, GMA News
