'Cobra Kai' renewed for fifth season

"Cobra Kai" is getting a fifth season!

Netflix announced that the show, a sequel series to the classic "Karate Kid," has been renewed for Season 5.

The announcement was made a head of the fourth season's premiere on December.

"Cobra Kai" picks up 34 years after the events of "Karate Kid," with Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprising their roles as Daniel and Johnny.

It was initially on YouTube Premium but moved to Netflix last year.

In the upcoming season, the characters are headed to the All Valley Karate Tournament. —JCB, GMA News
