Cha Eun Woo, Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Sung Joon confirmed to star on fantasy drama ‘Island’
The cast of “Island” (literal title) has reportedly been finalized!
According to a Soompi report on Tuesday, the cast of the upcoming fantasy exorcism drama includes South Korean movie star Kim Nam Gil as the character Pan, “a tragic character who confronts evil in preparation for the world’s end but can’t be together with humans.”
Lee Da Hee is set to play Won Mi Ho, a third-generation chaebol and teacher who “unwillingly begins a self-reflection period on Jeju Island.”
The report also said “High Society” star Sung Joon has been cast for the role of Goong Tan, a character who was “raised to take care of evil with Pan.”
Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo is expected to play John, a “hip Catholic exorcist and priest” who has “a noble calling of protecting lives and purifying evil.”
The actor and K-pop idol, who is a member of the group ASTRO, has captivated audiences in dramas like “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty,” “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” and most recently “True Beauty.”
