Liezel Lopez tries out surfing in Siargao

Liezel Lopez has eagerly shared her new hobby on social media.

On Tuesday, the Kapuso actress posted photos and videos of herself surfing in Siargao.

"New hobby unlocked," she captioned a video herself standing up on her surfboard while riding out a wave.

Liezel isn't the only one enjoying the waves in Siargao.

Andi Eigenmann, who is based on the island, recently said her fiance, champion surfer Philmar Alipayo, gave her surfing lessons. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
