"Squid Game" has officially become Netflix's no. 1 show!

The streaming giant just announced that the Korean series has reached 111 million fans around the world, making it their "biggest series launch ever."

This must come as no surprise to everyone who has heard about the show from possibly every social media platform out there.

A decade in the making, "Squid Game" is about 456 people who are invited to play a mysterious game.

The game turns out to be a terrifying fight for survival as the players have to play traditional children's games with deadly twists, all for a cash prize of 45.6 billion won (nearly P2 billion).

It quickly gained popularity, propelling the actors to fame, and even spurring viewers' interest in learning Korean.
