Harry Styles has reportedly joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thanos’ brother Eros!
On Tuesday, Variety’s senior film writer Matt Donnelly announced that the English singer was confirmed to play the role.
“Big reveal from ‘The Eternals’ premiere—Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanos,” he wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Variety editor Marc Malkin confirmed that Harry showed up at the premiere.

“When Harry Styles shows up in the MCU. Audience [squealed],” he said.
As of writing, Harry Styles and “Eternals” are among the top trending topics on Philippine Twitter.
According to Marvel, Eros “is an Eternal who loves life, adventure, and romance, earning the nickname Knave of Hearts.” He later joins the Earth’s Avengers as Starfox.
His powers include the “ability to stimulate the pleasure centers in other people’s brains.” He is able to “amplify the effect to cause euphoria, arousal, pacification, and/or sedation.”

No further details have been announced yet, but that’s surely something worth looking out for.
For the meantime, Marvel already released the official trailer for “Eternals” and a look on their powers.
Set after “Avengers: Endgame,” the film features Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Don Lee, Kit Harington, and Salma Hayek, among other stars. It will premiere on Nov. 5.
