'The Wheel of Time' trailer delves into a mystical world of monsters and women

The official trailer for "The Wheel of Time" just dropped, and we finally get to see more of the world crafted by Robert Jordan.

"Gone Girl" star Rosamund Pike breathes life into Moiraine, a member of the powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai.

From the get go, Moiraine introduces the One Power as she is seen wielding it. The Aes Sedai are also shown gathered together in a tower hall, and other important characters are introduced, such as Nynaeve and Logain.

The trailer sets up the story, showing Moiraine arriving in the small town of Two Rivers.

She embarks on a journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

"The Wheel of Time" is based on the best-selling fantasy novels by Robert Jordan.

It will premiere on Amazon Prime on November 19. —JCB, GMA News
