5 new things to expect from ‘Mars Pa More’ with Kuya Kim

“Mars Pa More” has always been a one-stop shop for moms to get their daily dose of yummy recipes, interesting crafts, family-friendly discussions and home decorating tips.

Kapuso viewers better tune in this Nov. 8, because the show is about get even “bigger and better” with the arrival of a very special addition to the “Mars Pa More” family—Kuya Kim!

Here’s everything you need to know:

1. “Pars” Kim will add a male POV to the show.

The one and only Kim Atienza will be appearing on the show as a host starting Monday, Nov. 8.

Mars Iya Villania and Camille Prats officially welcomed their fun, brainy, and hilarious “Pars” during a virtual press reveal on Friday.

“It’s unexpected and a complete surprise to us kasi he’s a pars,” Camille said. “But we got excited as we also want to reach out not only to nanays out there, but also to kids, the bagets viewers and pasok doon si Kuya Kim with all his trivia. Also, for the pars, may magtatayo na sa bandila ng male viewers.”

2. The show has a new and improved studio.

According to the hosts, “Mars Pa More” will be getting a “new look” with its “new beginning.”

“We really wanted to welcome Kuya Kim on this show with a really wonderful gorgeous spacious set,” Camille said, while Iya said it’s “bigger and better in all aspects.”

“I’m proud of this set,” Kuya Kim added.

3. Pa-trivia galore, and more

With Kuya Kim on board, Mars (and Pars) can most definitely expect to learn something new.

“(May) mga pa-trivia ni Kuya Kim,” Camille said. “Like, if were talking about food, kung ano man ang nutrients na nandoon sa food na ’yon babato namin kay Kuya Kim, and he will share kung ano ba ’yung mga importance at benefits nung certain na ingredient na ’yon na ginamit namin for cooking,” she said.

“Na-realize ko rin na bawat … galaw namin in the studio, may naka-attach na fact na ibibigay si Kuya Kim!” Iya added.

4. Kuya Kim will take you places.

Kuya Kim will be taking “Mars Pa More” beyond the studio to show you different places and meet different people.

“May mga times talaga na kasama namin siya sa studio nagba-banter with our guests, there are days naman na he goes out … puma-pasyal naman siya,” Camille said.

“Mas marami na siyang pwedeng gawin, mas marami na ring makikita, hindi kami nakakulong sa studio lang. Mas marami rin kaming mga experiences na pwedeng i-share because (of) Kuya Kim being a part of Mars Pa More.”

5. More family fun

“Mars Pa More” will show you the fun, interactive side to Kuya Kim, who has been known for supplying both facts and laughter on live broadcasts for years.

“First episode (taping) pa lang, we enjoyed it na,” he said.

“I wasn’t expecting the show to be this enjoyable, it’s so much fun to do. Parang naglalaro lang kami. We do three shows per taping day. Parang bitin nga, kasi ambabait ng lahat, pati production staff. Everyone is pleasant.”
