'Clifford the Big Red Dog' grows as huge as family's love in new trailer
A new trailer for "Clifford the Big Red Dog" has just been released and its love is as huge as he is!
The one-minute preview opens with Emily (Darby Camp) meeting Clifford as a puppy for the first time at an animal rescue tent where she asks the rescuer (John Cleese), "How big is he gonna get?"
The rescuer answers, "Depends on how much you love him." Suddenly, she was seen hugging the dog tightly with her tears hitting him like magic as they turn gold.
One day, Emily and the rest of her family woke up to a surprise when Clifford showed up by her bedside as a giant ten-foot hound, which causes commotion in the whole city.
The dog was then seen being run after by officials who offered $25,000 to whoever catches him, which leads Emily and Owen Yu (Izaac Wang) to go on a mission to keep him safe.
Towards the end, the rescuer explained how Clifford grew: "It's your love that made him so big."
"Clifford the Big Red Dog" is based on the beloved Scholastic book character created by author Norman Bridwell.
Directed by Walt Becker, its premiere date in the Philippines is yet to be announced.
