Sony Pictures teases fans with first trailer of animated sequel 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One)'

Sony Pictures teased fans and viewers with the first trailer of the animated sequel "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One)."

The trailer picks up where the Spider-Verse film left off with Miles Morales (Shameik Morre) lying in bed when a portal to Gwen Stacy's (Hailee Steinfeld) universe opens.

The description of the video said the next chapter is "an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered." 

According to a Twitter post by Sony Pictures the film will be out exclusively in theaters in October 2022. —JAB, GMA News
