Gerphil Flores teases new single ‘Santa Lucia’

“Asia’s Golden Girl” Gerphil Flores is releasing a new single titled “Santa Lucia” this month.

The “Asia’s Got Talent” star just teased her “independent project” on Facebook, saying she personally recorded and mixed the track at home using her laptop.

“I spent a lot of time working on this cover and I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it for you,” she said.

“Santa Lucia” is hitting iTunes and Spotify on Dec. 14.

According to Gerphil, the song is originally a Neapolitan song composed by Teodoro Cottrau that talks about the beautiful waterfront district in Naples, Italy.

The singer will also be uploading a special preview of the track on her YouTube channel next week. – Margaret Claire Layug/RC, GMA News
