BTS J-Hope donates $84K to underprivileged children
BTS member J-Hope has donated 100 million won or around $84,000 to benefit underprivileged children in South Korea.
According to a Newsen report Friday, Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation announced that J-Hope donated the amount to benefit children from disadvantaged groups.
It said the donation would be used for the heating expenses of children from low-income families and childcare facilities and medical expenses of sick children.
“I was worried that children who are going through a cold and lonely year-end due to the economic downturn and double hardship caused by Corona 19,” the statement quoted J-Hope as saying.
The report also said J-Hope has been named a member of the foundation’s Green Noble Club for his 150 million won donation to sick children in 2018 and his total donations of 800 million won to domestic and foreign youth. – RC, GMA News
