'Avatar: The Last Airbender' actors go head-to-head in cute sparring photo

Looks like the Avatar and the Fire Lord are getting straight to it before the new "Avatar: The Last Airbender" even premieres.

On Instagram, actor Gordon Cormier shared a photo of himself with Daniel Dae Kim, both of them in fighting poses.

"Momo, time for you to go," Cormier captioned, referring to the winged lemur that was a companion to Aang in the original show.

Cormier and Kim will play rivals Aang and Ozai in the Netflix live-action adaptation of the iconic cartoon series.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender," which aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008, follows Aang and his friends as they hone their skills and attempt to end the Hundred Year War in order to bring back peace among the four nations.

Ozai was the leader of the Fire Nation during the final years of the Hundred Year War.

Netflix ordered a live-action series in 218, and began announcing cast members in August last year. —JCB, GMA News
