'Stranger Things 4' to be split into 2 volumes; premieres May and July

We finally have a release date!

Netflix just announced that the highly anticipated fourth season of "Stranger Things" will be split into two volumes.

Volume 1 will premiere on May 27, while Volume 2 will premiere on July 1.

On Facebook, Netflix also released several posters, giving a first glimpse of the cast.

"Every ending has a beginning," the tagline said.

"Stranger Things" began filming its fourth season in October last year.

Created by the Duffer brothers, the show follows a gang of misfits who try to fend off monsters from the alternate dimension called the Upside Down.
