Rico Blanco shares his ultimate dream come true: A marketplace biz in LU

It’s always a sweet sight to see people achieve dreams they work so hard for, big or small.

In singer-songwriter Rico Blanco’s case, he also had dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur, and on Tuesday, March 8, he happily shared on Instagram that this dream of his is now a reality.

“Can’t believe [I’m] now just counting the weeks (days??) [until] my ultimate dream project in Surftown LU Port San Juan finally opens its doors to the community,” Rico wrote on an Instagram post.

Port San Juan is set to be a commercial marketplace in the heart of La Union.

According to the 48-year-old musician, it took him and his partners many years before Port San Juan came to life.

“[I’m] absolutely thrilled to see our market-level looking all set to welcome tenants, partners, friends and guests VERY SOON,” Rico added.

“Matagal ko pinangarap to kaya pagbigyan nyo na kung biglaang nag photo shoot na lang ako dito para hindi maiyak,” he ended.
