'Obi-Wan Kenobi' first trailer reveals young Luke Skywalker, introduces new planet

"Obi-Wan Kenobi" has finally unleashed its first trailer.

The iconic Jedi, once again played by Ewan McGregor, is shown living out his days in the planet of Tatooine, ten years after the events of "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith."

As he remains hidden while watching over a young Luke Skywalker from afar, Obi-Wan is being hunted by the Inquisitors, who are looking for the last Jedis.

Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker in "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith," is also set to return as Darth Vader.

While he wasn't shown in the trailer yet, Darth Vader can be heard breathing at the end of the trailer.

The trailer also introduces a new planet called Daiyu.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi" began production in March last year. The limited series will premiere on Disney+ on May 25. —JCB, GMA News
