'Baki Hanma,' 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' to return with fresh seasons on Netflix this 2022

Anime fans, there are a lot to look forward to on Netflix this 2022!

During the AnimeJapan 2022, the streaming giant announced the return of "Baki Hanma."

The second season of the anime series will adapt Baki’s fight with the primitive warrior Pickle.

Meanwhile, "JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean" will continue for episodes 13-24 later this year.

It will adapt the sixth part of the original manga by Hirohiko Araki.

Netflix also introduced fresh titles such as "Thermae Romae Novae," "Kotaro Lives Alone" and "Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure."

Other titles arriving on the platform this year are "The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh" and "GHOST IN THE SHELL: SAC_2045" Season 2.

"Anime is one of the cornerstones of our investment in Japan, watched by nearly 90 percent of our members here last year. At the same time, interest in anime has grown worldwide, and more than half of our members globally tuned into it last year," says Netflix Anime Creative Director Kohei Obara.
