'Game of Thrones' prequel series 'House of the Dragon' to premiere on August 21

"House of the Dragon," based on George R.R. Martin's "Fire & Blood" book, is set 200 years prior to the events of "Game of Thrones." It narrates the story of the House of Targaryen and the civil war that became known as the "Dance of the Dragons."

It wrapped up production in February.
