What are the signs of flash floods? Kuya Kim answers

This summer, many people would be going for swims in the sea, pools, lakes, rivers, and even waterfalls.

Despite the warm and sunny weather, however, flash floods may still occur, especially in mountainous areas.

According to Kuya Kim on "24 Oras," there are several things that can signal possible flash foods. If you notice these things while on an outing, warn your friends and family to keep everyone safe.

So what are these signs? If you see a dark sky or rain, debris floating in the water like branches or trash, or a change in the color of the water, seek higher ground at once.

If you are in an area with a dam, an alarm will go off to warn people that water will be released.
