BTS Jin’s concert performance to be limited due to finger injury

BTS member Jin’s choreography and stage performance at their concert in Las Vegas will be limited due to his finger injury.

On Friday, BigHit Music said in a statement released on Weverse app that the company made the decision to avoid further injury and another surgery.

“It was the opinion of the medical personnel that Jin should refrain from vigorous movement as any impact on his finger due to the amount of activities increased more than necessary, while he is still recovering from the injury, may cause another surgery,” it said.

The company said that while Jin wished to participate in the performance in full, it decided to follow physician’s advice and minimize his movements on all concert dates.

“As a result, Jin’s choreography and stage performance will be limited to a certain extent. We ask for your understanding and support from all our fans,” said BigHit.

Two weeks ago, Jin was rushed to a hospital to undergo surgery for an injury on his left finger.

According to BigHit, the tendons in his finger were partially damaged and he underwent surgery to repair the extensor.

The surgery went well, and as seen during their appearance at the Grammy Awards in Las Vegas, Jin wore a cast on his left hand to protect his injured finger.

BTS is set to stage their sold-out “Permission to Dance On Stage—Las Vegas” concerts on April 8, 9, 15, and 16 at Allegiant Stadium with simultaneous broadcasts at MGM Grand Garden Arena and livestream on the last day (April 17 PHT). – RC, GMA News
