Valeen Montenegro puts lumot on kilikili: 'Body hair is normal'
Valeen Montenegro is advocating for body positivity once again but this time, with the special participation of lumot.
Sharing photos of herself flaunting her underarms at the beach, Valeen took to Instagram to give everyone a reminder.
"Body hair is normal! It's natural! And we need to talk more about it!" she wrote. "When people criticize us for our 'imperfections,' let's all think and understand muna, 'what is perfection ba?'"
"I know my body is not even close to perfection. But I love and nourish my body because it allows me to do things that make me happy," she added.
According to Valeen, she no longer gets affected when "people point out [her] flaws." She wants other girls to empower themselves as well by sharing this important message.
"Stereotypes should be broken! Let's not compare ourselves to others and just love our own bodies! It's not about being the best. It's about feeling the best!"
As of this writing, the actress' post has hundreds of comments from fans and fellow celebrities who agreed with what she said. Of course, they also shared a laugh for the lumot.
Valeen has consistently been encouraging the public to love their own skin. Previously, she flaunted her figure in a "flat-tering" bikini photo. She also once said that "flat is the new normal."
