BTS to return with new album days before 9th anniversary in June

Good news, ARMY! BTS is coming back with a new album this June.

The global superstars made the announcement during their "Permission to Dance" concert in Las Vegas Sunday with a teaser video bearing "We Are Bulletproof" and the date June 10, 2022.

According to a Naver report, the group's return is aimed at opening a new chapter within the year.

This comeback will come just in time to mark their ninth anniversary on June 13. BTS made their debut in 2013 with the album "2 Cool 4 Skool," which includes the song "We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2."

In 2020, they released the track "We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal" under the album "Map of the Soul: 7."

As of writing, BTS is among the top trending topics on local Twitter with thousands of tweets from fans.

BTS' most recent releases since their last album "BE" in 2020 include "My Universe" with Coldplay last year, "Permission to Dance," and "Butter."
