'Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area' to premiere first part on June 24


Netflix is about to kickstart another great heist with the Korean adaptation of "La Casa De Papel (Money Heist)."

The streaming giant just announced that Part 1 of "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" will be dropping this June 24 with six episodes.

 

In the newly-released teaser, the cast was shown donning their masks and red jumpsuits for the "biggest" heist yet.

"The people will watch this greatest show on earth live," the voice-over said.

The original "Money Heist," a Spanish series, follows a group of thieves as they attempt to print billions of euros in the Royal Mint of Spain, with the help of criminal mastermind who goes by "The Professor."

It was previously revealed that the Korean version will follow a genius strategist and his talented crew of top-class thieves as they attempt to pull off an unprecedented heist in the Korean Peninsula. It will feature unexpected twists and turns as the crew stage a hostage while facing inexplicable challenges.

Directed by Kim Hong-sun, the series will star Yoo Ji-tae (Professor), Kim Yunjin (Seon Woojin), Park Hae-soo (Berlin), Jun Jong-seo (Tokyo), Lee Won-jong (Moscow), Park Myung-hoon (Cho Youngmin), Kim Sung-o (Cha Moohyuk), Kim Ji-hun (Denver), Jang Yoon-ju (Nairobi), Lee Joobeen (Yun Misun), Lee Hyun-woo (Rio), Kim Ji-hoon (Helsinki), and Lee Kyu-ho (Oslo). —JCB, GMA News
