Obi-Wan Kenobi is determined to train young Luke Skywalker in new trailer

A new trailer for “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is released on Star Wars Day!

In the almost two-minute teaser, Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi was seen determined to train the young Luke Skywalker.

“When the time comes, he must be trained,” he told Joel Edgerton’s Owen Lars, who then replied, “Like you trained his father?”

The limited series revolves on the iconic Jedi, who is shown living out his days in the planet of Tatooine, 10 years after the events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.”

As he remains hidden while watching over Luke from afar, Obi-Wan is hunted by the Inquisitors, who are looking for the last Jedis.

“You can’t run, Obi-Wan,” said Reva (Moses Ingram).

Apart from Ewan and Joel, Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker on “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith,” is also set to return as Darth Vader.

Directed by Deborah Chow, “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will premiere exclusively on Disney+ beginning May 27. – RC, GMA News
