'Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey' reimagines iconic bear as a serial killer
A "Winnie the Pooh" film is in the works, but it's probably not what you're expecting.
According to a report on IGN, director Rhys Frake-Waterfield will be reimagining the beloved storybook character as a serial killer in an upcoming indie horror movie titled "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey."
Winnie will be played by Craig David-Dowsett, while Chris Cordell will play Piglet.
The report added that other characters include "Caged Man" and "Mauled Woman."
If that doesn't give you an idea of what the film will shape up to be, the production still released by IGN from Jagged Edge Productions might do the trick.

Pooh looks nothing short of nightmarish, and it's already traumatizing netizens.
According to Variety, "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" will follow Pooh and Piglet as they go on a bloody rampage after being abandoned by Christopher Robin for college.
"Christopher Robin is pulled away from them, and he’s not [given] them food, it’s made Pooh and Piglet’s life quite difficult," director Waterfield was quoted as saying.
Winnie the Pooh is created by English author A. A. Milne. It was adapted into various media by The Walk Disney Company.
In January, Milne's characters except for Tigger lapsed into public domain. —JCB, GMA News
